Ingredients: 4 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 ½ cups butter, softened
1 ¼ cups sugar
1 ¼ cups firmly packed brown sugar
2 eggs
1 Tbls. Madagascar vanilla
1 (12oz, pkg.) real semi-sweet chocolate chunks or chips (2 cups).
Pre-heat oven to 375o
Combine flour , baking, powder, baking soda and salt in medium bowl.
Set aside.
Combine butter, sugar and brown sugar in large bowl.
Beat at medium speed, scraping bowl often, until creamy.
Add eggs and vanilla.
Continue beating until well mixed.
Reduce speed to low. Beat, gradually adding flour mixture, until well blended.
Stir in chocolate chunks or morsels.
Drop by ¼ cupfuls, 2'' apart, onto cookie sheet.
Bake for 10 to 14 minutes or until golden brown (do not over bake)
Makes approximately 26 cookies.
*Note: For 2 ½'' cookies, drop dough by rounded tablespoonfuls, 2'' apart on cookie sheet. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown.
