Great weekday meal on a cold winter night. Easy to prepare on a weekend for reheating during the week. You can double or triple the recipe and make a huge pot that saves well and reheats wonderfully. A bowl of this stew inside a circle of mashed potatoes and soda bread - perfect! A bottle of Guinness to drink goes great, too. Enjoy!

Ingredients: 1 bottle Guinness Stout Beer (or as much as you need ) 2 ½ lb stew meat beef 3 Tbls. Allegro 1 Tbl. Canadian Steak Seasoning Stew Seasoning packet 2 large onions 6 medium carrots, cut 1'' pieces, or 1 pkg. Baby Carrots 1 can corn 1 can green beans 1 can peas *Note: If using fresh peas, add to pot with other vegetables
For Mashed potatoes: 6 - 8 potatoes peeled and chunked ½ stick butter ¼ teas. white pepper ¼ cup milk as needed Salt to taste Note* Pour off almost all of the water after cooking Whip 'em
Directions: Cut beef into chunks Quickly brown meat stirring as necessary Add Allegro
Once browned: Add Guinness Add onion chopped in large chunks Add baby carrots, onion, corn, green beans, fresh peas Cook on 1 ½ for 8 hours Salt and Pepper to taste after cooking
