1 large egg
1 cup whole milk
2 tbl. melted butter
Directions:
In a bowl, mix flour with sugar, baking powder, cardamom and salt. In a small bowl, beat egg to blend with milk and 2 tbl. butter. Add liquids to dry ingredients and stir until evenly moistened. Place an Aebleskiver pan over medium-low heat or use a cake pop pan. When pan is hot enough to dance water, brush cups with melted butter and add batter just below rim. In about 1 ½ minutes add desired filling like apple or cherry pie filling to center of pancake, then turn with knitting needle until golden brown. Dredge in powered sugar and serve with syrup and whipped cream. Careful center is very, very hot! YUM
